lloydvibes.ca was built for one reason: there was no honest, detailed, locally-written guide to Lloydminster on the internet. Every travel site had a few bullet points, a stock photo, and directions to the nearest chain restaurant. We knew this city deserved better — and so did anyone making the effort to visit it.

Who we are:

We're locals. We live, work, and explore in Lloydminster — Canada's only city that straddles two provinces. We've walked every trail in Bud Miller Park, eaten at every notable spot downtown, and showed up for every Summer Streetfest and Colonial Days Fair. This blog is what we wish had existed when friends and family from out of town asked us, "So what's actually good in Lloyd?"

The city runs on two time zones, two tax rates, and a shared identity that's hard to explain until you've been here. We think that's worth celebrating — and worth telling the rest of Canada about.
